Sorry to disappoint but the State Song isn't Roll On Mississippi by Charlie Pride. You can read the lyric here.
Our State Song is actually entitled Go Mississippi the words and music are by Houston Davis, and having lived here my whole life I still have to admit that I have never heard it sung. Kind of makes you wonder how they pick State Songs.
